The Swedish Trade Association for Online Gambling, or BOS (Branschföreningen för Onlinespel), represents 18 gambling companies and game developers that operate in Sweden. The include companies that target gambling consumers (B2C – business to consumer) as well as developers who sell gambling products and product maintenance to the B2C . 3k164n

To sell gambling products to consumers requires a license in Sweden. All B2C in BOS must hold a Swedish license.

BOS works for a sound and safe gambling market characterized by strong consumer protection where all gambling companies have equal rights and responsibilities.

Our member companies operate in the gambling sector. All B2C hold a gambling license issued by the Swedish Gambling Authority. BOS works for a sound gambling market in Sweden, where all gambling companies have equal rights and responsibilities.

Secretary General for the Swedish Trade Association for Online Gambling. The Association represents 18 gambling companies that hold EU licences and target Swedish consumers.

I have devoted a large share of my professional life to work towards a gambling market with fair conditions for the individual consumer and for the industry as a whole. The introduction of gambling licenses in 2019 was an important milestone.

The ambition now is to uphold the Swedish channelization, i.e. that Swedish gamblers choose licensed gambling companies. If Sweden only wanted, it could be world leading in uniting safe gambling with a flourishing industry that gives back to society.
